Mainy Chan

Mainy Chan joined ESGI as a Consultant in 2000, was made a Principal in 2007, and in early 2008, she was appointed Executive Director. Ms. Chan manages a team of consultants and researchers responsible for conducting senior level searches across the asset management, insurance, banking and information technology sectors.

Ms. Chan began her financial career within the Planning and Development Department of a Hong Kong bank, where she acquired a solid understanding of banking products and services. She then set her sights on a career in executive recruitment, joining a major international search practice. While there, Ms. Chan focused on assignments for middle to senior level positions across a broad range of industries in the Asia Pacific region and developed an expertise within human resources, finance, sales and information technology positions.

Ms. Chan holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Hong Kong and an M.A. in Human Resources Management and Training from Leicester University. She is a member of the British Psychological Society and is also a qualified user of Aptitude Tests, Interest Inventories and Occupational Personality Questionnaires. She speaks fluent English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Fukien dialects.
