Chui-Inn Lee formed her own executive search firm, Felicity, in 2003, bringing to the business her 15 years of experience in operational management and venture capital investment. Since founding this firm she has conducted senior level searches, many of them for the China market, across a breadth of sectors including private equity, real estate financing, media, and IT.
Ms. Lee’s professional career commenced in the early 1990s, when she was the General Manager of China for IMG, the leading global sports and entertainment promotional company. From 1998 to 2000, she was Vice President of Business Development at Star TV, the Asian subsidiary of News Corporation. During her tenure she was responsible for both monitoring existing assets as well as evaluating investment opportunities for News Corporation. Between 2000 and 2002, she worked as a venture capitalist focusing on media and IT investments in Greater China.
Chui-Inn Lee is the founder of “Women In Media”, a non-profit organization with the mission to promote women’s role in the media industry. Its’ membership is in excess of 100 professionals from journalism/publishing, multi-media, music, film, TV, public relations and marketing. She also plays an active role in promoting classical music in Greater China.
Ms. Lee received an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Cornell University. She has attended the Beijing Central Music Conservatory and the Juilliard School pre-college and college in New York. She is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and French.
